What is your purpose of OverClocking?

i think it is just for benchmarks. Normally it is imposible even to notice 3000mhz to 3300 mhz, but benchmarking does. If you score higher, you feel better and think you got the most out from your product.

^^ Second that.;)

Me personally..... just for the benefit of more fps in games. But if i only get like an extra 5fps, whereas the temps have raised like 3C then i forget it.:D

I overclock so I can get more performance for my money, since right now my system performs better then a stock system with an X6800 and an 8800GTX.

super pi 12 seconds :D

other than that, ram is underclocked :)

crossfire is stock and still getting scary FPS in games. maybe when crysis comes out then i'll go clocking those two.

Well I hit 3.74Ghz and got a CPUMark Score of 11532... I want to go higher but no one has beat my score yet. Once they do, I will beat them back.

That it's the best overclocking chip around. ;)

If I had the money I'd love to own one of them. But since I don't there's no point in wishing.

Anyways I'm pretty attached to my system, as old as she may be. I just wish my new chip would get here, it's been three whole days! Can't wait to see how far she'll OC, not as far as Thatguy16's Windsor, that's guaranteed. I'd be happy with 2.7-2.8

What kinda core did you get? Toledo?

Yep, Was only $60. OEM however, i'm going to use my old 3700's stock cooling until I can afford something more suitable, Arctic silver as TP.

Most reviews I've seen say it can reach 2.7 easily, 2.8 frequently, and 3.0+ only sometimes. I'd be a fool to wish for a batch stepping that allowed 3.0ghz..
