Think I gotta upgrade the HSF to aftermarket copper or something as I am getting 40C idle temps @ 2.1GHz. Anyone have an recommendation ? How to take out the stock HSF? Thanks. Lookin to spend less than $30.

40C wont make a CPU crash. Those are fine temps that most people run with stock heatsinks, OC or not. The heatsink isnt the one to blame. Its either your motherboard, or you simply got a bad overclocking chip. RAM could also be holding it back depending on how you are overclocking.

Yeah, make sure your CPU:RAM ratio is 1:1...

CPU to RAM clock ratio, it uses the base clock speed not the multiplied value. At 1:1, if your FSB is 266MHz (1066MHz QDR) then your RAM is also running at 266MHz (533MHz DDR).
