What does this post have to do with desktop computers. WOW is a life waster game. I have known 3 people that have lost their jobs and their wifes because of their addiction to WOW.

This post belongs in the general chat forum and not here. Or maybe the I'm wasting my life on a stupid video game forum.

i totally agree !! go on youtube and type WOW, probably you'll see the story of this sick kid who plays wow 36hours straight, give yourself a break for once dude, whats so good with WOW anyway
 
WOW sucks, those people are turds, the guy was like it's gonna be really C00L they were all like woooooo, yeaaaaaa, we have no life, weeeeeeee.

Wow. This guy posts one thread asking for help and half the forum jumps down his neck, (some jokingly, other less) Then he tries posting a helpful link, albeit in the wrong place, and again you guys take over it with YOUR heated opinions. If anyone should be turned off of this forum it will be him not you.

Ever hear the mantra " don't have anything good to say.."?
 
Any person that lets a game affect them so much that they lose their wife should permanently have "LOSER" tattoo'd on their forehead..
 
Opinionated person is an opinionated person; Just because we're on a forum doesn't mean you're opinion holds any more weight than in the real world.

I don't care if you dislike a certain Wow player who's wife left him because he played too much, I'm talking about here and now. Branding them all the same way, and sticking them all in the same pot is idiotic, simple. You don't know him. Pretending like you do makes you look like a fool.

I understand but blaming the game is just enabled these certain people. It's like blaming guns for being so tempting, or blaming sex for being too addicting (XD), along with gambling and dozens of other "evil" objects and desires. The only "real" thing at fault are the people themselves.

Anyways I tried the free trial, liked it, bought it, played for less than a month, got bored, canceled my account and never looked back. Whether other people can, or will do this is quite another question but it isn't destructive to a normal (??) person like me. I have a feeling the people who's lives get ruined are either asking for it, or for some reason wish to spend their entire lives in an alternate reality, an escape of their reality.
 
Well he already admitted to playing it 12 hours straight in another thread, so he is on his way over the top.

By the way, sex is not addictive, it's a necessity! :)
 
Eh.. why is there an banner under hermeslye's post about Wow powerleveling and cash? Does this always happen?

Never tried WoW myself. Friends have tried and got addicted.
 
Lol, spambots search the forums for keywords and put an appropriate Ad. At least that's how I understand it.

You should use Adblocker, with firefox. ;)
