Memory Brand Differents

I just changed my system from 1GB kingston, to PNY 2GB of Memory,

-is there a Different between memory brands?
 
there are differences in every brand... they're made by different companies so they will be slightly different but both of those are good companies so I'm not sure what you're asking or looking for

Im just looking for a better proformence.
 
what are the model numbers of the RAM you had and the stuff you got because then we could see the performance levels of them... but 2GB is a good step up from 1 so you'll notice that difference right off the bat
 
Yes! I cud see the different!

I update my system from 1GB from unknown brand that came with my toshiba laptop,to : PNY 2GB MEMORY,and the different is APPROVED!!
