Does a video card use PC ram?

Does a MX4000 video card use any of your system ram or just what it comes with?

I dont believe it should. Although cards with TurboCache or HyperMemory do.

MX4000 will not use your system memory. It is an old card and does not support turbocache or hypermemory.

Not true... any card with Turbocache or Hyper Memory will use some of the system RAM. Apparently there's something with AGP that can share some of the system's RAM too...
