Is the qaulity pretty good with this connection?
I was planning on getting 32" LCD w/HDMI and 1080i but I remember when i hooked up my 20 inch with S-video and the qaulity was horrible.

HDMI is a much better quality connection than S-vid. You'll have buy a Dvi to HDMI adapter to hook it up but they're easily obtainable. :)

Let me know how it goes.

Cause I have a Sharp 32'' HD-LCD TV.
With two HDMI ports. And I wanted to see the quality and performance.

I use HDMI for my television, I get a dozen or so HD channels and the picture is pristine.

Perhaps I'm mistaking, but I thought HDMI was DVI and audio in one cable. So it's not 'better' quality as much as just more compact. But yes... HDMI is much better than basically any other connection available now :P

Would having the adapter decrease qaulity because I was thinking of getting this video card when I got my new comp and it has an HDMI connection but I would rather just use the adapter and get a different video card.

I was actaully thinking of getting that TV, I won't be moving for another month or so. Thought i would just start looking for a TV early and look for some sales.

It's a digital to digital connection, there will be no degradation at all. :)

S-Video is more on par with a composite cable then any type of HD cable. The picture will look a lot better with component, DVI, or HDMI then it ever could with S-Video.
