New router which router should I get

Any input on which one I should get?

I want one for performance in gaming (My desktops which I will be gaming on will be wired) the laptops wont be wired and DS and PSP wireless.

OP: Get the second Buffalo router that you posted, its a great router and can run DD-WRT. The reason I didn't suggest the first one (Wireless-N) is because the 802.11N is not standardized yet.

Alright, the second one can run Nintendo'DS and PSP's no problem right?

I know its range says 2000 feet but is that true?

Yeah it should work perfect with you DS, and I see no reason why it wouldn't work with your PSP.

The router could probably have a range of 2000 feet, outdoors with no obstacles. But indoors don't expect that high of a range.

well DS doesn't support WPA so you are forced to use WEP....

There is a new buffalo router that is out there that has 32meg of memory built in! Which is a lot for a consumer end router.

also, if you want more bandwidth, you may want to get a network "load balancing" router that can enable you the freedom of hooking up two broadband connections so that each computer(if using only two) can access the internet on a separate connection...!

yeh, but it is usually worth it. theres another thread where the guy is having problems with a dlink router. those things are junk. netgear isnt much better...but still better

Buffalo's are a bit cheaper and they just released a new model which boasts 32meg of RAM, which is a lot for a consumer router. Most of them have like 4MB or 8MB and that is why they suck.
