Auto Shutdown

How would you set a computer to automatically shutdown at a specified time? I tried making a shortcut to shutdown and adding it to scheduled tasks but it doesn't work, I'd rather not get some spyware filled third party software to do it if I can help it so I'm pretty much looking for a setting or lightweight program.

You should just be able to schedule the shutdown.

Otherwise the batch file just needs the following line...:

shutdown -s
