Problem with pc

Ok basicly my pc wont send info to the monitor. And we have to turn the cpu switch from the back of it off and on. and then in a couple of minutes about 10minutes something blue pops up sayin it has to shut down because of security reasons etc.

And sometimes you have to switch the video to the monitor cable to vga then from vga back to DVI ETC

Does the blue screen show any numbers or codes?

Trying pressing F8 when your computer is booting up, and choose to go into safe mode.

Log in and do the following:

Right Click My Computer
Click on properties
Hardware tab
Device Manager
Double click on Display Drivers
Click uninstall
Once it's done this, restart your computer

This will allow the computer to find its own driver to run the monitor.

You may need to download the latest drivers is AKCallahan
