I'm going to put a PC in my car. Wanna help?

I have been tossing around the idea of doing this also. But I can't justify it. I would only use it for GPS and picking up free wifi. My music is on my ipod, and I already have a kick-a sound system in my car.

But it takes a lot of planning. For starters how big is your current CD deck? Probably not a double DIN. The best way to do it is the right way. Which you would take off the panel and then custom fiberglass it to fit you LCD monitor. That would be the hardest part for me. Also if you are going to have enough power from your car battery to power the pc.

It would be sweet to pull it off though. A lot of work, but sweet. Plus I would not want my car sitting in the school parking lot with a computer and monitor in there, you should probably get a security system if you get this also.

Good luck!

Heya, you obviously know more about systems than I. ;)

double DIN?

It's as big as 2 normal after market cd players stacked on top of each other.

I know I could just IPOD it. Where is the fun in that. ;)

I'm a computer nerd, I love building computery things. ;)

That it is, but the question is, what is your factory stereo size? I doubt it is a double DIN. Definitely check out mp3car because a lot of people have done it over there.

It would be pretty fun to have one but the sound quality from the PC would be my worry.

Good luck.

Will do, I'm going to ask and make sure the audio sounds just as good as from a premium deck, if not then I'll pass on this zany idea. :)

Toyota-Lexus are the most reliable vehicles on the road.
I really like Toyota's to. I have an '07 Camry LE V6 and it's a great car, powerful to at 268HP. With Toyota's, Lexus, Honda's, etc, you dont even have to worry about any problems for at least 100K miles.

Good choice!

How's the power? 268hp wow.

I test drove the 4cyl model, and uuuugh ick. Not that I was expecting a sports car but it would be hard to pass people in it! lol...

What's LE? Sounds like you got a loaded model. Nice. ;)
