Why doesnt anyone make an eclosure for cd/dvd drives? wouldnt it be just as easy as putting a hdd in one or is there more to it?

they do. but it comes with the cd drive in it. or you could just take a hd out of one and put a cd drive in it. mst are universal

i would think it would be the same interface as a HDD enclosure just a bigger case.
now that you asked that someone is going to market one and get rich.
