ddr 2 WTF ??? I NOW RLY CONFUSED!!!

i saw a post with some1 with a ddr2 533mhz mobo and some1 said its ok to run faster memory in it is this true?? is so can some1 tell me some good ram for a

If i understand what you said, DDR2 ram is backward compatable. You can put say DDR2-800 in a DDR2-667(max) motherboard, however it will just run at the speed of 333MHz(DDR-667).

All are the same thing. 333MHz is the actual clock speed, after DDR it is equivalent to 667MHz. The transfer rate of DDR2 667 is 5400mb/s.
