no it was getting restarts and then I just opened it up and saw that and plugged it back in the cpu temps are around 48c now it was just at 51c a min ago and the mobo is around 42c
and should my cooling fan be bringing air in or out cause I only have 1 120mm fan and its bringing air out right now
Is that 48 to 51C at idle, if it is thats to hot. I got rid of a 62 about 2 weeks ago and had it at idle at 32C and tops between 39 and 41C. Did you install the heatsink yourself?
Yea thats kinda small for a 62 but it still should be cooler than that, did you use the stock compound that came on the cooler, if you did you could remove it and put some Artic Silver on it. It would probably drop it some. I use a Cooler Master Hyper TX on most of mine, does good for 30 buck cooler
heres a screen shot of my pc probeI would get a better cooler and some Artic Silver, put alittle more than a grain of rice and spread it thin and even, should bring down the temp some. Dont know if thats whats causing it to restart. What voltage is the processor running at, most of the 62s I have done really like 1.4
One other thing besides rushing into a new cpu cooler even spending on either an Artic Cooling or Zalman model is to take a serious look at the air flow. You seem to have only one rear exhaust fan and nothing to bring cooler air into the case. You can have a Zalman or any other cooler on there and still see high temps due to a lack of air flow.
Once a board is adequately cooled other temps follow suit like seen with the 939 build here last year. From 48C down to 31C idle just by the additional cooling seen in a new case. That one seems very limited there. Without this given consideration water cooling becomes the more expensive method to see low cpu temps. Boosting the cooling by adding one or more 120mm fans would be the first thing.
Getting some cooler room air into the case will also help the rear fan blast out the warm air seeing a big help on lowering temps overall. When I put the 939 build and moved everything out of a compact two small fan deal into the AeroCool model seen at the link jere those high temps then saw a large drop fast. It made no difference what cooler was on the cpu at the time. Even the stock hsf would have seen a good drop.
The AeroCool model can be looked over at http://www.xoxide.com/aerocool-aeroengine-2-black.html When removing one of the two 120s off of the side cover and simply reversing the one remaining to clow air out from the side the cpu noticed a 1C drop for the average overall. Not much but! it shows how just arranging air flow to get air moving does make a difference.
The Antec case for the new build notices a bpard never seeing over 30C with the few days it was running. There seeing a good fan in the front will be the plus you need for that model case. Antec also has some great case fans if you shop around. Those come in blue, red, multicolor, and even green led when you can find those. Most vendors simply carry the blue led models.

yea I might try getting another one of these I have one i hte back and it brings air out pretty good and since I have a front intake I might as well use it
Think your case has a 120 bottom front intake and a 120 back exhaust, you could swap out that side tunnel for a side intake fan. Your 62 is running 1.35 voltage, all the ones I have used I always set them to 1.4 but with your temps high already I would get the cooling down before raising the CPU voltage.
