no password for network

As for your question :
As part of the network probably means it was logging onto a domain.
At the log in screen you can change that to log "onto this computer".
It should be a drop down list with 2 options, check it.

change the username to Administrator and leave password field empty and try logging, in otherwise if you're stuck the only solution is to repair windows (for nothing) and when it ask you for a password, put your own
