I think Bootcamp is b/c it's made by Apple

But other software companies have got Apple and Microsoft beat, by making things more efficient. I really don't see why Microsoft can't come up with something that beats the Source engine, just as an example

Bootcamp = allows you to modify /play with your Mac bootloader installing other OS's
VMFUSION = its just a virtualization product installed on your Mac (i use it - running win2k)
