IE7 web page will not go away help

A window is running in the bachground of the desktop, no title bar, not in system bar, process can not be found in taskmanager can not be minimized or closed in properties it says that it is an html doc and useing http protocol which it should say for a webpage but is not acting like a web page also shows the web address it came from, i have been there and everything works fine for that page. can you please help its driving me nuts.
 
Is it still there after you reboot?
Can you post a screen capture of what it looks like?

In the mean time, try this.
On the desktop, right-click then Properties, then Desktop tab, then Customize Desktop button, then Web tab.
Are there any pages check marked there? If so, uncheck them or remove them.

Thank you, I didn’t have to take a screen shot, once I deleted the web page like you told me, it disappeared from the desktop. I had never heard of this ability before, I guess you learn something new every day.

good, I'm glad. And yes, it is when computers do wiggy stuff that you tend to learn things you just won't forget. :)
