Ok... hear me out...

I have lots of pictures, files, videos, ITUNES MUSIC and more on this PC...... But I want to upgrade to Vista...

HOWEVER, I would prefer to just buy the OEM Vista, wipe XP, and then start fresh with Vista

Id prefer to stay away from "Vista Upgrade"

How can I save all my files, including my Itunes Music, and still upgrade?

Thank you

put it on a dvd or a hd. but remember to hit deactivate this computer in itunes you will not die but it saves some time. also your music is in my documents music itunes. you will need the account and password to use it again

good idea... i just invested in this so that should be good to go, im just concerned about how im going to get my itunes music back onto the new vista...

will i have to reestablish each song individually? how do i deactivate the 1st os?

no. you only have to activate it once and all your songs will work. i cant say for sure where the deactivate is it should be in one of the tabs at the top

well you almost cant with itunes (but you can i just am saying it is harder). that is why i hate it. there cra* about protecting songs is BS. it is too much hassle.

i do have to agree.... i love itunes but then again i hate it...... i dont even have an ipod..... sucks i guess

cant u just drag and drop itunes or convert it into another file format ? havent used itunes before, but deactivating the first os, u dont need to , just put the CD in ur optical, restart and the computer should recognize the boot device and work from there,

hahaha no, you have to deactivate itunes. they have this stupid thing where you can only have it on 5 computers. and no. they encrypt there songs and it is near imposible to crack.
