Hello, I am new to this forum and was not 100% sure where this thread would belong.

I am new to building, but the computer itself works fine. The problem is that I am unable to connect to the internet with it. I use Roadrunner, and I was not the original person to install it. When plugged into the LAN plug it doesn't respond to it. Any possible solutions? Do I need to buy a Network Card for it to work? Thanks in advance.
