Mac Hold Windows 98

Yes it can "hold" win98, you can either dual boot via boot camp, or make life easier by running win98 inside a virtual machine
vmware fusion here
virtual box here

no you cant, macs and pcs run on different technoligys. yes you can run 98 inside a virtual machine but it will be alot slower than using a windows dedicated pc.

yeah you do have a point but then again the question was simply to ask if it can run YES OR NO, and YES you can use bootcamp to boot win98, now that is dedicated, don't you think ?

edit : my virtual machine (windows2000) runs smooth via Fusion, don't see any slowness with it, don't see why you say it slow

There is no driver support for anything older than windows xp for native booting via boot camp.

You can however run virtual machines, but why do you want to run windows 98?

Oh, this also only applies to intel based macs. If you have a PPC based mac you have to buy an emulator app called Virtual PC

why would you want to boot windows 2000 off a mac? Just run a virtual machine. If you need to natively boot windows, just install XP. OEM XP is very cheap these days.
