ok its like this i need to get a way that wont cost alot of money to find a pentium 3 pc or pentium 4 pc could have a celeron or something of that nature but i want a pc that can run final fantasy 8 on hardware mode instead of the software rendering i had a older card that would run it on hardware rendering but i upgraded to a geforce 6800 XT the thing is here since i upgraded i cant play final fantasy 8 cuz it has a graphical error in it that cannot be fixed with any of the patches.
so i was thinking about having a pc anywhere from the pentium 3 lineup to pentium 4 area where it has a agp 4x or 8x that can work with my old classic geforce mx 4000 if i can get ahold of a pc like that i will be so happy to play final fantasy games on it like 7 and 8 7 i know doesnt work well with certain video cards either but 8 will work find with my geforce its just im having a hard time finding old pcs i come across some sometime working with my dad doing work for him but they are so old that they arent even a agp 4x or 8x and they are really garbage lol
