Password for Mapping Network Drive

Hi...

I've got 10 pc which connecting together using LAN...one of those pc is a server...so i map that server using windows network map drive....the problem is im not the only one person using my pc...my friend also use my pc...I want to put some security into the drive inside the server which i map....so when somebody use my pc n access that mapping network drive, it will ask password first....

I know we can put password to the server...but it will affected to other pc also...I only need to put password for mapping network drive in my pc...no need to wory...my friends will not use other pc...he will only use my pc...
n i can't ask him not to use my pc...so how to put password into the map network drive? do i need a tools for it?

You need to give out a lot more information to get a definite answer. Describe with many words clearly your set up. I assume you are using windows? What server are you connecting to? SMB by default requires some sort of authentication and well Microsoft likes to strip down features of their OSes unless you pay more for the premium.

Yes, im using windows xp...n the server using windows nt..so do you know how to put password in one drive which i map using map network drive?
