What does everyone do for work?

IT/network tech/admin/support/other. The other is in there because I do all sorts of other things like moving furniture, hauling old and new equipment around, run cable, etc.

I run my own side business as a technology contractor. Got a few steady clients on the side. it helps knowing the Mac platform because there is not a lot of game in town for that.

I do too many things to list them all here, but if there is something that needs to be done with technology I can do it.

I am a certified laser technician. I have help develop a scale model of an intercontinental ballistics missile defense systems for the US air force.
Currently though I am working in my hometown and keeping the checks coming in by maintaining lasers for laser eye ORs.

wanna build me some bad ass laser stuff?

Of course :D
I don't actually build them. All the components get made to specs and we are the ones who assemble the parts. Kinda like the people here on this forum with computers.

It's pretty insane what you can do with a laser pointer, a soldering gun, solder and a 9v battery :) My friends and I where toasting holes clear through 1/4" plywood.

I am a network security intern for Scottrade in Missouri. I am still at ITT Technical Institute here in Missouri, and as soon as I get my degree in Information Systems Security, I hope to get a full time job with a company like Scottrade or other big big company.
