Speed problem

Hi everyone
I have a problem with speed ..I format my C yesterday and install Xp but its still slow .I have intel P3 366 MHZ pro n 256 MB ram, 40 gb HID n xp operating system n kaspersky antivirus...but my system speed is very slow..Is there any method to enhanced its speed ,,,please help

Not sure if you can add RAM to you PC, but if you can you need a minimum of 512MB of RAM, preferable 1024. Make sure your startup does not have too many items starting up. Run MSConfig and remove unneccessary items. I uncheck all mine except the antivirus.

Dont run an antivirus.

Win Xp Requirments:
PC with 300 megahertz or higher processor clock speed recommended
Kapersky:
Intel Pentium II 300 MHz or higher processor
512 MB RAM

You will do better without the antivirus. Put it this way if the computer breaks, your out.. $20?

yea but wat if he has files on it?
 
Get a girlfriend? ;)
or get a bunch of Pc's like Omega and don't worry about the virus's. Download as many files as possible, and reformat once a month. ;)

LOL!!

How did you know what I did before I reformat? :P

Lets not forget that I also have 5 partitions, each with a different OS :D

WOW, you must have a HUGE PIPE..
What we talking..10-15mb Per sec? :)
Downloading to 5 OS's.. We need to have a Pron downloader anonymous on Cf.com, Omega can head it up.

haha, there isnt enough on the net, I already have every single image to date :D
