Hi i wonder if anyone can help me?I bought a belkin F5D7632-4 modem with wireless router.and do i still need my ntl modem to work with this or not? I have got it working on my computer but no ones else can get a signal on the internet.Yet its suppose to be wireless.Do you have to have your phone plugged into it?I am running windows xp.I bought this off the internet And it didnt have a manual etc with it.I have looked all over and i cant seem to find out how to set it up proper. Can any nice person help me?
thank you.

your modem needs to be connected normally. Then take the ethernet cable and plug it into the input port on the router.

There should be a WAN connection on the router for the modem, than (typically) 4 LAN connections for the computer. Once you're connected, try to log into the router. Go to your browser and type 192.168.2.1 (that's the typical Belkin IP address). If your computer got an IP address correctly, you should get some sort of login. You'll have to find out the default username and password, but it's typically something like admin/password, or no username and admin as the password. Manual's should be available through Belkin's website.

Once you get in the config page, you we can go farther. Most of the time, I've seen routers might have a difficult time picking up an IP address from the modem. I know I had to manually release and renew the IP address for our modem here a few times before our Buffalo router picked it up...
