Help needed

I was looking into getting a ATI 9250 256 MB DDR. From what I've read, the only thing you need to get the aero (transparent effects) in vista is to have a DirectX 9.0 compatible card. But I don't want to buy it and find out it won't work. I am looking into getting a graphics card that is capable of the aero effects on Vista.I know a lot of people suggest that people wait until DirectX 10 cards come out, but I can't wait any longer!!

First off, DX10 cards have been out since November of last year.

Secondly, the ATI 9250 doesnt support DX9 (only DX8.1), so it wont work.
 
Oh yeah friend may be this problem has occurred ..but still i don't get what ever i wanna get..thanks for your replies they help me to some extent but my problem is not sort out still. i think some problem may happened with the vista or with some other things.

The problem isn't with Vista. They explicitly state that you need a DX9-compatible card in order to use the Aero effects.

BTW, why do you call everyone your "friend" in every post?
