I've heard that 20% of the internet speed is reserved for Windows Update downloads. What are the registry changes to be made to increase internet utilization?
Any help is greatly appreciated....

there was a window tweak I thought G4m3rof1337 wrote... maybe it wasn't him, but there is something that you can change somewhere in a config page that let you disable internet capping for your PC or something.

its not true
well some people did notice some improvement after this tweak.

this tweak only worked for some people and gave some more speed...but for other it didnt do anything:confused:

anyway here it is....

go to start -> run -> type gpedit.msc -> open the "administrative template" -> then open "network" -> then click on "QoS Packet Scheduler" -> right click on "Limt Reservable Bandwith" select properties -> click in the circlular box beside it "enable" then below in the "bandwith limit (%) cange the value to 0 -> Hit Ok & Reboot and watch the change. The change can be noticed in the increased download speed..
