Problems with connection

Hi

We have a 4 port adsl modem router with all four ports being used. One guy has his connection through a switch with 2 computers coming off it and it seems to constantly disconnect. Any ideas would be great

have a simalar problem... tried shutting off firewalls from all the pcs?
Run spyware, update your firmware

A switch or a hub? Try connecting it with a hub instead. A hub is just a basic switch, but does not have packet inspection options, so it might be a simpler device for your network.

Yeah you have to go for hub for that much connections ..it must helps you to network your all pc's in very efficient manner and also your problem will sort out..hub is the best solution to make connections with such kind of situations.
