DONT laugh at the vid card....its just temporary until i could afford a 8800 or maybe something better when it comes out.

would that Psu be able to support a 8800 upgrade at a later date?

Shane, Personally, I'd wait till after Christmas, the prices will come down a LOT! Looks good, but I'd get 2GB of RAM :)

The GFX seems kinda weak.. maybe drop some for an x1950 or something?

Yeah it would only be until i could afford a 8800 and realy a £20 graphics card isnt wasting too much money so ;)

but hey shane why dont you just keep your current card and stick a bummy in the rig your (selling i suppose, right?)

uh?

you mean keep my 9600 pro and stick it in my new machine?

i cant because its AGP where the new rig mobo would be Pci-e.

im not selling my current rig,My sisters having it to do coursework etc on it:D

Yeah, wait until the new 45nm's come out, that way you can see if you still want to spend 200 on the new Q9300, or stick with the Q6600 which should drop pretty well in price.

Yeh like most of the above have said, i think its a pretty smart idea waiting until january as almost everything lowers in price at about that time. But if you want to get the comp now I think its a pretty good build maybe you could wait until Jan and get a good GFX card in the sales.

Like I said, not only should prices go down around then because they always do, but also that the 45nms are coming out.
