I was hoping for some advice here.

Tell me what you think and (if applicable) anything I should change.
I'm trying to build the best PC possible for $800.

I've never built one on my own before. My custom one I have now was build with the help of a friend.

I would like to try to keep the total around $850-900. But I do want to build the best and fastest one I can for the money.

A few things I would look at.

CHEAPer memory... Same thing, $9 less.

Wow. Only 8MB cache, and ATA150 doesn't make it better.
