A few months ago i started receiving computer magazines for some reason and eventually I started getting "this is your last issue" crap....well after about 2-3 "this is your last issue" warnings, the subscriptions stopped (although I guess I didn't order them in the first place, so its all good lol).

After a few months with no issues....I kinda miss reading them and I'm thinking about subscribing to one.....but which one? Does anyone recommend and specific one? (The one that was coming to my house for a while was Maximum PC btw)

What you should do is Buy a single edition of a different PC mag everynow and then, Too find out which one you like.

Different PC Mags will lean towards certain things, Hardware, Software, Ect. . .
 
I used to subscribe to MaximumPC, but they pissed me off with the same thing you went through, The last subscription is coming soon BS. It started 2 months after I started my 1 year subscription. It annoyed me so much I let it lapse. Now I subscribe to CPU magazine (Computer Power User) And I like it much better than MaximumPC, though I do buy an issue from time to time.

Don't bother with their forums though, they really suck and are over run with ego's!
