Internet Explorer Opens Minimized Xp Home Edition

Every time I go to a webpage my I E version 7 opens the page with a small screen ! :( I need it big I am an old guy and it is better for me to see the larger screen ... Does anyone know how to setup IE-7 so it will open full screen and STAY that way ... Thanks Bob in Michigan :)
 
From what i know, IE when exiting saves how your window was, if it was maximize it opens up full, if it was minimize it opens minimize, if you actually open IE and it minimizes to the taskbar then probably IE was set to run minimize to remove this , go to IE7 (or it's short-cut) right-click->Properties, then at the shortcut tab, where it says "run", choose what fits you best, apply changes and click ok

I tried that going to the short cut tab properties and selecting maximize and it did not work ...I contacted microsoft and they told me the same ...I tried it again it don't work ...I should clarify this When IE opens I get a reduced size screen it does not go down to the task bar ...I then goto the upper right of the screen and click on the middle icon to make it full size ... Then if I go to another webpage for any reason it goes back to the reduced size again ...It is just annoying ! why won't it stay full screen ! :(

Well I went back to IE and played with it awhile after making a restore setpoint and I got it to stay full screen ! What I did ... I went to a webpage and it came up small like it always does ...Then I went to the top of the screen there is a blue bar across the top I right clicked on the blue BAR itself not on any windows or buttons ...A small window popped up with MAXIMIZE on it fooling around I pressed the CTRL button on the keyboard and held it while I clicked on the MAXIMIZE in the small window ...I went to several web pages and they all came up full screen ... I am not sure this is a permanent thing or what ? ... I need to try it awhile but it did work just now ... :):)BOB
