Sooo, I planned to get some of my crappy computers to work. I was told that an Beowulf Cluster is the best. Connecting them thru an router/switch, and making them work as one. I planned these computers to work together:
Intel Celeron 566MHz
Intel Pentium 166MHz
Intel Pentium 200MHz
What I need to know:
How do I set them up? What O/S? Will an 10mpbs be as good as an 10/100? Can I run HALO or something on an Linux O/S? Is there Battlefield 2 for Linux? (I can connect more computers). Does the RAM add up? Does the GFX add up? Hard drive?
