display adapter deleted

Hi

My son was messing around with his computer and has deleted the display adapter? how do i reinstall this? as the screen is only showing very bad resolution, we dont have the originall install disks.

Any help would be very much appreciated

That would be very easy, all you need is the model of your graphics card. Most likely its Nvidia or Ati, and then all you need to do is to go onto their respective websites and download the latest driver for your card and install it.

You mean his driver :P

What is his computer model/video card ?
 
Are you certain he deleted the driver or maybe he altered the resolution to 16 colours or 256 colours. Right click on desktop and look at display properties.
