free heatsink

Yeah, it begs the question, why are they giving it away? It doesn't look very good. :confused: But hey, don't look a gift horse in the mouth. :D
 
It's actually a decent heatsink, you can mount two 120mm fans on it. Plus it fits in SG01 and SG03's, even though it's over the height limit.
 
So who is getting one?

Maybe the rebate is hard to get?
How are newegg rebates...never tried an item with rebate.
 
Its $28.... you'll never get the rebate, deep down in fine print they have the right to "decline" your rebate or just not give it out all together :P
 
I don't know why cooler master would reject your rebate, and I just got my Newegg rebate for my OCZ 700W power supply.

I recieved my rebate for it too...

But seems like i heard some bad things about Cooler Masters rebates.. i could be wrong

it's when the manufacturer says "hey buy this and if you show us proof of purchase we'll refund some of your money back". it's a way of getting people to buy stuff thinking "oh i'm getting this at a discounted price" and then the manufacturer crosses their fingers and hope people don't send the rebate info in.
 
I just convinced one of my friend to get it for me for my bday :) So even if he doesn't get the rebate he's not getting ripped of :D. I guess I'll store this away for my next build.
