I know that the Q9450 is probably coming out in January 2008. I am selling my current PC so I can have enough money to make a new Intel build then with the Q9450. My question(s) are:
Will the EVGA 680i (http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16813188019) support this CPU?
Would the fact that the CPU comes 1333MHz, and that the 680i's max FSB is 1333MHz, come into play when trying to overclock, for example when trying to bring the FSB up, would you be able to on the 680i?
Does anyone think that there will be another significant motherboard (that is good for overclocking) will come out around the new 45nm's that will be able to support them better? Or is the 680i going to probably be a good choice? Thanks.
