Hey...setting up a stock dell for my friend who wants to hook up two plasmas along with his computer lcd.....I purchased the e-GeForce 8600....hooked the two plasmas to the two DVI's and the lcd to the computers motherboard display output......but the computer won't boot up with the lcd hooked up to the stock motherboard.....it tells me I have to hook it up the new graphics card....but i want to run the lcd and the two plasmas....any ideas...the graphics card has two dvi's and oney s video.......by the way im running xp....thanks in advance to any help.......:).cheers

You generally don't want to run onboard and pci-express graphics card at the same time, I don't think that works. If your friend wants tri monitor he'll need to buy another cheap graphics card.

Correct! When you insert an GFX (PCI, AGP, ect) onboard is automatically turned off. You'll need another GFX :(

A single graphics card can only support 2 outs (if it says it can, mine as dvi and vga yet it doesn't support dual monitoring),

wouldn't he need to get a sli mobo then sli 2 graphics cards to achieve the 3-4 monitor hook up?
