Hi all, :)
Im looking to buy a new digital camera before the christmas period beigns and iv not had much experience with so i was wondering if you could help me out please.

At the moment i have a vivitar v6320 and to be quite honest its pretty poor. It takes good pictures in daylight, and standing still but when it comes to moving objects and in low light say for instance on a night out when you want to just quickly take a good picture because your friends doing something quite funny and then by time youve switched the camera on, its gotten ready to take the picture an 'click' youv taken it but your friends half way to the toilet.

so im looking for a sleek, small and stylish camera, (like the Sony Cybershot W90 or panosonic lumix) that takes good pictures in all conditions inc moving objects and low lights and one that doesnt take ages to get ready to take the picture and one that captures the imgae straight away so that your friends dont have to stay in the same position until you say, "and thrown".

My budget is around £100 - £150

If you have a few in mind please give me your opinions
thanks

Olympus, Nikon and Sony are all good brands and the two former are companies that are dedicated to photography, see what their compact cameras are like if you can.

my brother has a Casio Exilim EX-S600SR which is a great camera. its small and has a big screen, and right now they are selling for about $200, maybe less. I think that is like £130, or something like that.

i would recommend olympus.

here in australia they are pretty cheap.

an FE-290, with a 3 inch screen and 7.1 Megapixel should cost like 125 - 150 pounds.

thats the one i have.
