Acer Monitor Problem

I found an Acer monitor and it seems to be doing that.
And that popping noise, is coming from the monitor.

you found the monitor? chucked out or something?

probably why they got rid of it

Sounds like a capacitor in the monitors power supply... LEAK!!

anythings fixable, just got to know what your doing.. it could be something so simple as just needs more solder or something that just isn't worth fixing

i would unplug it wait a week and open it up. the week is just to drain the caps a bit

Well, if your not experienced you might not see anything wrong... look for broken solder,loose parts, or anything abnormal like burnt chips or dark places on the circuit board...
