I got my laptop 2 days ago, and couldn't wait to overclock it! The drivers that Dell provides are decent, however I went to laptopvideo2go.com, which has more recent drivers, which also allow overclocking.

Heres the benchmark using the Dell driver at stock settings:

Heres the benchmark using the drivers from laptopvideo2go.com (169.04) at stock settings:

Heres the benchmark once I overclocked to 632MHz/454MHz, using the 169.04 drivers:

I am going to try and get it up a bit higher, but i'm satisfied so far :)

Everything is stable, i've run numerous benchmarks and games without a hiccup. I just received an average of 42.07FPS on the CSS stress test maxed out (16x CSAA, 16xAF, etc) @ 1440x900. :)

EDIT: I also get an average of 104.89FPS in the stress test maxed out with the same settings and resolution, except it's on 2x MSAA instead of 16x.

Yup

Only during gaming though, because it downclocks whenever the video card doesnt need to run at full speed.

Ah right, I'd of thought there was no OC'ing headroom in a laptop as they aren't cooled as well...

But nice OC!

WOW. That is...

Overclocking an lappy? How hot does it get?
You can overclock a laptop, but you're right in saying that the cooling is usually just enough for stock speeds. The video card does get a bit warm, but it's still fine. The stock speeds were 475/400, so overclocking it to 632/454 is pretty nice for a mobile card.

Would the 3DM improve any with a 7200RPM Drive?

No it wouldnt.
