Which will handle gaming better?

The Core 2 duo E6600 or the AMD X2 6000+? I'm thinking the Core 2 Duo but am not positive.

Reasons please? I feel the same way but cant pinpoint why.

They're about equal in terms of speed I think, but the Core 2 Duo is better in terms of power consumption, heat, overclocking because it uses 65nm wires vs. 90nm wires in the AMD. BTW, get the e6750 over the 6600. It's the newer version... it's better in every way not to mention cheaper.

Ah man thanks for the heads up about the E6750 man, I would have wasted so much money on the 66000!
