Why do you want 64bit OS? currently, unless you want to put over 3GB RAM in your PC, there is no major benefit to do so.

ok whaty does the 64 x2 mean? i believe i know but not sure thanx.

The 64 and the X2 means that your running a Athlon 64 X2 dual core. The 64 means the processor is 32/64 bit processor, the X2 means your have a 2 cores on one die processor. Theres alot more to 64 bit than just being able to run over 4gbs of ram.

Yes, you'll need another copy... nothing's free...

And why would Microsoft let you download illegal copies of Windows x64?

Nope, it'll always cost something. There isn't an "upgrade" package or something to make is 64bit...

I knew there are benefit. But to me, I will not personally spend $100-200 for just getting a 64 bit OS

dude thats not what i meant but if i already bought a 32 bit version then would be gay to have to buy a 64 bit copy for 200 dollars

i wanna upgrade to 4gb of ram by the way daisymtc
