having trouble installing ENL832-TX-RENT driver on windows xp sp2

for some strange reason i cant install this driver theres nothing to click on that will load the install shield wizard and install the driver to windows xp pro sp2 i downloaded the updated version of this driver and still doesnt help

ENL832-TX-RENT is for my network interface card i bought and it doesnt seem to be helping me at all i cant even use it so im using my old network interface card to get online here
 
well did it have any .inf files? try going to start>then right click on "My Computer" and click Properties. then click on the hardware tab. and click device manager. find your device then right click on it and click Update Driver. the choose the option "Install from a list or specific location.(Advanced) and click next. check the Include this location in the search: and browse for the files that you downloaded for your drivers. that might work for you
 
ive been doing that

ive been doing that alot today and still nothing what it tells me is cannot install this hardware

the hardware was not installed because the wizard cannot find the necessay software.

and i pointed it at where the drivers are and it still wont install
 
well the problem im having is

the thing it came in didnt seem to have much info on it or a number to call or anything :( i cant even find that on the disc but it does say encore electronics on the disc of the driver is there a way that will help me?
 
i bought me a new network interface card

i bought me another one but this time i got one from d-link i had no problem installing that on windows xp Service pack 2 thanks for the help i figured the other one was a scam or something cuz i couldnt install it at all even with the updated drivers and plus the cd didnt have a install shield wizard either
