Hello everyone,
I upgraded my CPU today from a AMD 3200+ to a AMD Dual Core 4200+. My PCMARK05 was at ~3400 before my upgrade (with I thought was VERY low for my system) but now it dropped down to 1100

What gives

Here is my setup:
a8n-sli MoBo
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ Toledo 2.2GHz Processor
1 gig Crucial Mem
36 gig Raptor HD
300 Gig SATA HD
2x 6600 GT OC Vide in SLi
Upgraded CPU cooling

BTW. as you can see I'm new the the website so take it easy on me :D

OK, so I ran PCMARK05 again, and now i'm up to 4291.... Alot better then waht I was geting. But doesn't that still seem really low for my setup?

well, i get 5427 and the only differences between our machines is the extra 1gb i have and the 1900xtx. Maybe the extra 1gb makes up the 1000, not sure. U tried cleaning out your system? closing down all programs before doing the test?

Although i dun think u will notice the difference if u got a little highter tbh.

Is SLI enabled in bios? are the latest drivers installed?

SLI is enabled in BOIS. Latest versions of everything...

I was thinking I will be able to get past 5000 without overslocking anything with my setup. Guess I was wrong. Unless anyone has other suggestions.
