hey guys. i'm a big linux fan, but i dont like messing with ndiswrapper and such on my laptops. are there any good wireless usb adapters out there that work with linux (ubuntu and fedora, in particular) out of the box?

well i have one that works w/ ubuntu, but i am not compleatly sure about fedora, i have tried a few times. It is linksys wusb54gc. But what adapter do you have already? i know of some other ways with out ndiswrapper

i'd be glad if you have a way without ndiswrapper. i've never gotten it to work for either of my hp laptops. i have the BCM94311MCG in this one for sure, and i'm pretty sure the other laptop has that one too. it would be great if i could get it to work that way.

ok well it does not look like there is one out. there is the bcm 42xx but you dont have that. so for now it seems out of luck
