if i add one more gig of ram will it increase my framerate in obivion? currently im playing it at 800x600 res set at medium settings...and im getting 20-25 average fps...my rig is in my sig...

of course there will be a performance gain... but the cpu and video are the bottleneck
I'd better upgrade the cpu and video.. (and ram too...
) or use lower details

Well Oblivion is a ram intensive game, so another gig would help. However like konzerte said, your CPU and graphics card are also really bottlenecking you too. However, if you don't have enough money to upgrade them, the ram should yield some improvement.

yeah i know that
its just that the game is too good that i wanted to play it at good settings... anyway ill be building a new rig soon so by then i will be oblivion worthy....
will i be able to increase the settings if ill go for another gig of ram
