So, I have a PC that I will be selling on ebay, just the MB/Video/Ram/CPU+Fan.

It is;
Asus A7N8X-Deluxe Rev 2
ATI X700 Pro
Athlon XP +3000
1 GB Crucial DDR 400
Zalman CNPS7000B-Cu Heatsink

It ran pretty cool (never overclocked).

Now my question is, Can anyone tell me which will run cooler? AMD or Intel.
The HTPC case I have is not the best for airflow, so I need something that will out perform the current set-up and run at the same temp.

The current PC is just a bit too slow to play some of the HD movies (8GB+).

Oh yeah, I also forgot to ask about a Sound card that would be the best bang for the buck to connect to my Receiver.
