Any suggestions? I took this off cyberpower, I don't want to spend anymore on it either.
 
Looks pretty good except for the video card, if you are going to be gaming, the 8500GT is a mediocre card, if you an average gamer get something like the 8600GTS at least but if you are a hard-core gamer the best choice right now is the 8800GT... also if you're going to game, you might want to change the ram to Corsair XMS series, in other words not value select but it's still good, not a problem.

But i see you said you dont want to spend more, so if you want one of the better cards, you might have to get a dual core processor instead, which are still excellent cpu's and use the money left to get a better video card.

Case - Antec 900 is better :)

CPU - Get ClubIT's

Motherboard - 680i or P35 chipset ;)

RAM - DDR2-800 Corsair XMS2 2GB

GFX - Horrible. Get a P35-DS3L and get a 8800GT minimum!

^ Ahh.. oops. Didn't know this was prebuilt. NEVER buy a prebuilt. That looks good until the GFX... horrible GFX..
 
Hahaha, everyones going to flip when they see the GFX part of the list. Actually a 8500 performs as well as a X1650XT!! LOL
 
Two 8500GTs provide poor performance and value. Better off to get a single superior video card such as an 8800GT.

Just been to cyberpower website. suggest changes:
PSU: Ultra V-series 500W
MB: MSI P35 Neo Combo-F
GPU: ATI 3850/ 8800GT, depends on budget.

But I will suggest you to build it yourself to save money

Ok I reworked it, I want to stay around this price. I'm not too sure about the mother board, if you have any suggestions for that or something else that would be cool :D
 
Everything looks fine except the power supply, 420W is not close enough, specially for a big card like the 8800GTS, I would get at least a good 500W... I've heard Corsair, OCZ, Rosewill and some others are good power supplies. And about the video card, you might want to wait until the 8800GT get back in stock, they are cheaper (~$280) than the 8800GTS, consume less energy and perform better. Now if you wait till december, you can see the new 8800GTS (512mb) that will come out, but we'll se how that goes...

I'm a very casual gamer and an 8500 GT is enough for me. They're really just to offload the load from the CPU and system ram. I play things like AVP2. The most intensive thing I have is BF2 and that'll run on medium. Mine's 256MB though.

Why you need 2 Motherboard?
Where is your PSU? don't tell me you plan to use the one come with the case...
And get a 8800GT instead

$1000 could get you better. Would you like me to wrack up a build? Building is quite easy. And a $1000 system with a good GFX will have you in the 100's FPS's in BF2.
 
If you can find a better build thats fine, and the two mother boards are there because i did not know which one to use. I dont have a power supply because i forgot, but its no problem finding one.
