Whats this damn error please?

i get this error on alot of games i try to play:P

btw...dont laugh guys but i was attempting to run COD4 on my rig lol.....probably wont even run on low but until i try i will never know :D

i managed to get the game to launch,run intro movie,select a name,start the mission but before the mission entry video ends it crashes to this error.

any help appreciated :P
 
those are memory dumps. Could be anything from crappy coding on the application, OS issues, bad RAM, corrupted virtual memory on the HD (which would point to OS issues), etc.

My guess is if that is the only thing that crashes it is probably software related.
 
It's an access violation. It's trying to read or write some memory it's not allowed to. It can be caused by bad RAM but more likely it's bad software (drivers, the program itself, malware, etc).
 
thanks for your replies,well its the demo of COD4 and apparently theres a patch for the full versions for problems i think but i tried to use the patch on the demo but it said there wasnt call of duty 4 installed....yet the demo was so i dont understand.

all my drivers are uptodate,Latest gfx drivers,sound card drivers,updated windows etc i just cant think what the hell to do:cool:
 
when i had my celeron i use to get this a lot, but as tlarkin said, it can be anything !
i didn't have any games yet i got it, so basically it has to be software, you are using NOD and am using NOD also, have you tried turning NOD off ?

hi Patrick.....no i havnt actualy tried turning it off,i will try it now and report back :)

what reg cleaner you recomend?

i only have CCleaner and that didnt do nothing:cool:
 
well i ran Regcure and it found 503 errors :D

but it wont let me repair them until i buy the software,So im gonna search for a freeware alternative right now.
