Quick Spec' Check

Hi all!

I'm just wondering if you'd be so kind to double check my specs.

I don't think I have missed anything out, but, if I have, please point it out to me, or if you think that I could change something slightly. The budget is £530. It will not be used for gaming, Vista aero, though, could be an option. Mainly for Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Bryce rendering and Cinema 4D.

Let me know what you think! :)

EDIT: VirtualPC 2007 is also something else that may be classed as a 'power-hungry' piece of software, that I wish to use.

poor motherboard, poor graphic card, poor brand of harddisk, unknown brand of PSU...
basiclly everything is wrong to me....

Thanks for taking the time to create that. I just have one question, why the 64-bit OS with only the 2 GB of RAM?

It gives you the potential to have more RAM in the future. Also 64 bit will eventually become standard, so it's more future proof.

my friend has 64 bit vista and hes having lots of troubles with it, id steer clear from it until service pack is realesed

The motherboard I choose can only take up to 4GB RAM. If you think you might need more in future, I will suggest you look for something like Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L.

As oregon said, I choose 64 bit windows in case you need more than 3GB RAM and it is more future proof. You will not need to spend another 60 pounds in future.

Motherboard is crappy...

RAM is kinda low...

And GFX is horrible. Look at the x1950 or the 8600GTS or at least the 7600's...
