I camped out lastnight for more than 8 hours to buy this laptop from compusa. What a night that was here in connecticut.

Well, anyways.

The laptop is a Pavilion dv9407nr. It comes with a geforce 6150 in it. It says on the sticker it uses 287MB of shared video memory, but only is using 64 of it.

How can i max the 256mb shared? I just ordered 2 more gigs of ram, so sharing memory shouldnt be a problem?

Im running windows vista home premium 32 bit.

Thanks in advance!

you can't. video card memory is different from the RAM you are talking about.
And you got a intergated video card.

You go into the BIOS I believe to change the video RAM, and even though it can utilize up to ~287MB of RAM (which is shared with your system memory), it still wont increase performance too much, as it's an integrated card.
